No Condemnation

Once your life is submerged in Jesus the result is liberation.

We can somehow miss this amazing liberation when we base our life on what we feel.

Let’s check the boxes as we walk through this.

  • I gave my life to Jesus – check
  • I invited Him to be Lord of my everything – check
  • I repented of my life’s sin – check
  • He has forgiven me – check
  • I keep looking for the freedom He’s already paid for – ummmm, why am I about to check this box?
  • I still feel condemned, but I know I’m saved – why am I about to check this box too!!!

no condemnation

Romans 8:1-2 (NIV)

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you[a] free from the law of sin and death.

No matter how you might feel!  If you are in Jesus, you have been freed.

The key to walking in that is in the verses beyond the scripture above.  It is when we choose to walk in the Spirit (big “S”) and not the flesh.  Our “feelings” will play havoc with us forever – the devil loves that, because it keeps us focused on our soulish thoughts and responses to life – and . . . not walking with the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:5-6  (NIV)

5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.

Invest your life into choosing to, and learning to, walking in the Spirit.  He is the greatest counsellor and guide in existence.

He is amazing – and so is the fullness of the liberation Jesus died for.

Let’s get it ALL

God is amazing!
