Failure – makes you learned!

Failing doesn’t make you a failure – failing makes you learned!

Many will say, if you haven’t failed, you haven’t tried!    ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Our ability to fail, to collapse in a heap, stumble and fall, places us amongst some pretty amazing company – I mean Moses, Abraham, Jacob, Elijah, David, Peter (just to name a few) and the one I find so profoundly odd . . . Aaron, when he allowed / took part / somewhat organized the people into melting down their jewelry and possessions to mold them into something to worship!!  Now that’s failure on a grand scale!

But . . . they all used their failure, their collapse, as a tool for personal growth – they each turned to God, set their heart right with Him, put Him as “the one true Priority/Lord” in their lives, re-attached their hands to the plough and made some phenomenal gains in their lives and the lives around them – they had powerful world shaping lives after their failure.

We too can do it, if we use failure and their example of recovery to re-shape our future and our advantage!

Here are three great scriptures of encouragement.

2 Corinthians 4:8-10 (NKJV)

8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— 10 always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

Hebrews 10:39  (NIV)

But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.

Psalm 73:26 (NIV)

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

God is amazing!
