I’ll have my Jesus on the side please – (well, that aint no revolution!)

What do we really have when we look at the church?

What kind of expectation do we have when we’re getting ready to go to church?

Is it a movie theatre with child care?  Once you leave, back to “real” life?

Is it a big lecture hall with some music upfront to break the ice?

Do we expect to get blown away – or just our ears tickled for a couple of moments?

What is it?  What are we doing?  What are we thinking?

Is it religion?  Revolution_Title_Card

It’s meant to be revolution!!!

The House of God, must be the most powerful beginning to your week, or the rest of your life will take over.  We can’t have Jesus “on the side” – like some occasional encounter with a spicy balsamic!

ALL the potential is there, if we engage, if we want it?  Do we?

Acts 1:8  (NIV)

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses  . . .  . . . to the ends of the earth.”

It’s all there because He is there – IF we want Him to be.

The Holy Spirit – the weight and thickness of His Glory – the ability to catch sight of our lives through the eyes of God – forgiveness for “missing the mark” – liberation from darkness – an anointing from God that confirms “I can do this life, and I can do it powerfully, because I walk with the King of Glory, the God of ALL creation and The Holy Spirit.”
