What are you doing / What are you thinking – that becomes you!

I’m currently all about traction and momentum.  Producing brighter days in our lives despite what’s going on around us.

I am constantly reminded of this great scripture from Proverbs 23.

Proverbs 23:7  (NKJV)  For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.

Then this morning I stumbled upon this quote from a LinkedIn article

Aristotle: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act – but a habit.”

I combined the two in my muse this morning!  BAM!  REVELATION!

What we spend time thinking about, what we spend time doing, repeatedly, produces who we are.

That can be bad . . . for example we can become an excellent car thief, or think repeatedly about how bad life is and the world is crumbling or . . . something else very bad.

You see it works both ways . . . bad or . . . great!

Or . . . we can think/muse on great and wonderful things (as is suggested in Philippians 4), or what God has done, is doing and will do in our lives – and . . . those things become us and we become them.  Excellent!

God is amazing!!!
