To-Do or Not To-Do, that is the question!

Another stolen Blog springs forth: however this time I cant remember where it came from – it has just stuck in my head, namely because I am the one the needs to hear it right now.

How do we do our day well?  Generally with a list of things to-do – yeah, that’s right (write!) – a To-Do List.

Do the first (important) things first and the last things (less important things) last.  Easy right?

NO!  Not necessarily.

The daily bombardment of things that yell “do me, fix me, attend to my needs” masquerading as the Urgent things in life or the “that’s-how-your-life-is” things.  and MORE OF THE SAME controls your life!

The blog I stole from said “the NOT-TO-DO” list is more important than the “To-Do” list – and that list could be huge!!!!

Life will be just the same ol’ same ol’ unless you change – and change is generally captured but “not doing” some things.  Efficiency and productivity of your day is exactly the same.

The “not-to-do” list should be considered more important, otherwise you will never get to what you need to-do to propel your life forward!

This scripture is fascinating in this way . . .

2 Corinthians 6:12  You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.

Interesting right?

This scripture says we will have an affection for things that hold us back!

Be bold when you create the “Not-To-Do” list – cut things off, stop doing things that just waste your time and ruin your traction!!!

I believe I need to credit the initial inspiration of this blog to Pastor Phil Pringle!

God is amazing right?
