Veiled (or Unveiled) – my stolen blog!

Pastor Phil Pringle’s Blog this week was this . . . .

Jesus removes the veil of the clouded view of God, so that we can read and have full understanding and insight of the Scriptures.  Add to this, we receive eyes that can see God.  Jesus told us that unless we are born again we cannot ‘see’ the Kingdom of God.  This new set of spiritual eyes awakens us to the world of God and so we walk, not in darkness, but in the light.

Our current theme at c3 True NORTH Church causes me to look at this incredible fundamental truth and ask a question to bring it all into our regions perspective – after all we are on the Bible Belt here in Frisco.

Are there a lot of people that sit in churches that simply don’t “see” the Kingdom of God?  Clouded
vision . . . fuzzy faith . . . not quite sure what to believe or how to walk out what is believed, trying to pluck the cherries . . . so . . . nothing really happens?

I think so . . .  But why is that?

Is it because the church has tried to straddle both old and new Testaments and has tried to fulfill living in both covenants?

I think so . . . But . . . it cant be done.  Jesus either came and ushered in the New Covenant of Grace or He didn’t.

Oh but He did

So shall the church demand adherence to the law?  No!  Jesus fulfilled the law, for everyone of us that have accepted Him as Savior.

I love this . . . this whole discussion, the whole truth!

Let’s let Jesus lift the veil!  Better still let’s invite Him to lift it off!

God Is Seriously Amazing!

See You In Church!

In His Amazing Name
