Trust In . . . or . . .

There is quite a lot of difference between “trusting in The Lord” and trusting what you know “about” the Lord.

We build up a knowledge base “about” the Lord over time and we can walk trusting in that knowledge base.  But, that may not need to us have fresh encounters with Him, fresh times in His Word, fresh times of Worship and fresh conversations with our King and Heavenly Father.  Wait . . . could that also mean we’re presuming God?  Like walking in presumption of God?

God so loves doing a “new thing” – so much so He says “shall you not know it” when it is jumping right in front of us!!

We may be waiting for God to do something like we know He has done and He is waiting for us to expect Him to trust Him no matter what, how, when and where – the “new!”

Proverbs 3:5(NKJV)    Trust in the Lord with all your heart,     And lean not on your own understanding;

Expect the unexpected – just trust God and get your mind off “how” God is going to come through.  Let Him do the directing!

Proverbs 3:6(NKJV)  In all your ways acknowledge Him,  And He shall direct your paths.

Just Trust God!   He Is Seriously Amazing!

See You In Church!

In His Amazing Name
