Abraham Lincoln Strikes Again – at the heart!

“Character is like a tree and reputation its shadow. The shadow is what we think it is and the tree is the real thing.”     Abraham Lincoln

We’ve simply got to get over ourselves people.

We’re too quick to judge, and we’re only looking at the shadow of a person.

Even if “they” say someone’s clock is ticking a little weird, so what?

Why not ask God why that is?

Maybe you’re right there, in that spot in time . . . yeah you!  Don’t look around, this is your moment, no-one else’s . . . . step it up, choose now . . . love and embrace the life of the person who’s clock is ticking a little weird!

You never know – God might use you to set them free!

And if he doesn’t . . . just love them anyway – you may be the first person to show some love to them this year!

Love is actually quite simple – and greatly profound!

  1. I have heard the saying, “God puts certain people in our life for a reason.” Perhaps their clock is ticking weird and they are in our life for us to set them free as you mentioned.

  2. Just what I needed to hear! Amen!

  3. OHH wow!!!!
A well thought provoking outline of truth…well balanced and very Biblical.
I love it when we use evey day symbols to explain deeper and hidden gospel truths.
    I am enjoying your blog.

  4. thanks ya’ll! Yeah we just have to get all this life down to the simple truths – very quickly. We’re either into people or we’re not missioned by the Spirit.
