Lets Be Very Clear . . .

In our day to day communication, we need to be clear, we need to be people of our word and not leaving clouds of “hmmm, what he said was not really the case – I can read it in his eyes” or something similar.

So much of our society today has given the big “OK” to lying and deception – as if not wanting to be discovered – and at street level people can be deceptive in their communication simply because they are fearful of “the conversation.”

So many people have become fearful of having a full conversation about anything!  So when one actually happens – just a conversation, but a transparent, detailed conversation, that might require decision making . . . they call it confrontational!

Christians are not exempt from this unclear communication – we can be listed among the worst.

Let’s be clear . . . lets not muddy it up . . . let’s be transparent . . . let’s talk and not hide.  We are after all, people of the truth and the Love of God!

Join the two together and “have the conversation!”

Psalm 24:4 & 5 (NKJV)   He who has clean hands and a pure heart,  Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.    He shall receive blessing from the LORD,  And righteousness from the God of his salvation.

One Response to “Lets Be Very Clear . . .”

  1. Good words. Sometimes I find the most difficult part of being truly honest with others is being really honest with myself first. Instead of focusing on what I’m “supposed” to be thinking, really knowing where my heart is.
